The Golden Raspberry Awards Foundation, bestower of the UNcoveted Razzie award for the worst of the worst in cinema is, as I always refer to it, a valuable public service as well as a wildly funny send-up of the excesses of the awards season in Hollywood. John Wilson, the founder and Head Berry of the Foundation, always finds much to skewer each year, but this year brought its own special treasures, including Eddie Murphy’s record-breaking number of nominations (5) for his (lack of) work in NORBIT, and his new favorite film since the iconic SHOWGIRLS, Lindsey Lohan’s ironically titled I KNOW WHO KILLED ME. When we spoke on February 8, he also looked forward to next year’s Razzies, when Sylvester Stallone would once again return to the list of nominees in and as RAMBO.
